Call Tracking for Painters
Tracking numbers, form capture, and conversion plumbing that connect every booked job back to the exact keyword and ad that caused it.
If you can’t trace the job, you can’t trust the report
Your report says 42 clicks and 9 “conversions.” Which of those became estimates? Which estimate became the $6,800 exterior job you closed on Thursday? If your agency can’t answer that, they’re steering your budget by guesswork and defending it with click charts.
The painful part: without tracking, the keywords that waste money and the keywords that book jobs look identical. So the waste never gets cut and the winners never get fed.
How the tracking stack works
- 01
Tracking numbers that preserve your caller ID. Campaign traffic sees a tracking number that forwards to your real line instantly. You get the caller’s number, a recording if you want it, and we get the keyword and ad that made the phone ring.
- 02
Every form and button wired as a conversion. Estimate forms, tap-to-call buttons, booking calendars — each fires a conversion event with its source attached. Nothing counts twice, nothing goes missing.
- 03
Booked-job feedback into the bidding. We mark which calls turned into estimates and which estimates closed. Those outcomes feed back into Google’s bidding, so the machine optimizes toward jobs — not toward whatever’s cheapest to click.

Part of one system
Tracking is what makes “cost per booked job” a number instead of a slogan. It’s wired into every landing page we build and every campaign we run — it’s not an add-on, it’s the floor.
How you'll know it's working
This page is the measurement. When tracking is live, your monthly report reads like a job ledger: what you spent, what rang, what quoted, what booked. Ask on the call and we’ll describe exactly what you’d be looking at each month. The report ends where it should: booked jobs rolled into monthly revenue and return per ad dollar.
Straight answers
Will a tracking number mess up my Google Business Profile or local SEO?
No — done right, your real number stays your public number everywhere. Tracking numbers only appear to ad traffic on campaign landing pages, so your name-address-phone consistency stays intact.
Do I have to log calls or update a spreadsheet?
Almost none. Calls log themselves with their source. The only human step is telling us which estimates booked — a text or a two-minute monthly check-in — and even that we’ll chase you for.
What happens to the call data if we stop working together?
It’s your business data. You get an export of call history and conversion records — we don’t hold data hostage any more than we hold contracts.
Twenty minutes. Straight answers. No pitch deck.
The free 20-minute call: where your jobs come from now, what they cost you per booked job, and whether Google Ads beats that in your market. If it doesn’t, you leave knowing that too.
